The National Association for the Protection of Cemeteries and Graves honours and protects the mortal remains of the dead and protects grave rights together with the preservation of memorials.

We are a campaigning organisation and will seek to challenge cemetery authorities in their attempts to extinguish grave rights, re-use graves and remove memorials.

Through our ongoing engagement with the general public over the past 25 years, it is clear that the re-use of graves is not acceptable, due of the lack of respect it shows to the deceased, the denial of access to both private and public graves, and the distress that it causes to the bereaved.
